COVID-19 UPDATE

On Sunday, November 22, we learned that a person affiliated with Heart to Hand has tested positive for COVID-19. It’s important that we preserve their privacy so we cannot disclose their name. We can tell you that their last time in the office was 11/19. The person has reported that they did not come into close contact with any customers or clients since being in the office and followed all precautions while in the office.

When a person tests positive for COVID-19 they are contacted by a tracer who works to identify if that person has been in close contact with others. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) defines ‘close contact’ as less than 6 feet away for a duration of 15 minutes or more. Health dept. will contact any individuals who they determine may have had close contact with the individual who tested positive.

We are doing everything we can to support this person during quarantine. To further mitigate any risk, H2H will go back to telework/telehealth for all services. If you have any questions or need any additional support, please reach out to info@hearttohandinc.org or call 301-772-0103 and follow the prompts for the department you need. General inquiries may dial ext. 102.

Appointment or Walk-in

For your first visit to Heart to Hand, you can make an appointment to get tested or to talk to a member of our staff. We also have walk-in HIV testing Monday thru Friday from 10 am – 2 pm.

Schedule appointment

Call our office at 301-772-0103 to schedule an appointment whether you are new to Heart to Hand or returning. The front desk receptionist will ask for some information which may include if you have health insurance.

At your appointment

You will need to bring your driver’s license or other official identification as well as your insurance card, if you will be using insurance. You will also be asked to verify your information and complete confidential documents.

Location

Heart to Hand is conveniently located at 9701 Apollo Drive in Largo, Maryland, the Largo Park Office Building. We are located on the 4th Floor, on your right when you exit the elevator.

Parking

The Largo Park Office building where Heart to Hand is located has a free, outdoor parking lot.

Public Transportation

Metro Subway

Heart to Hand is easily accessible by public transportation. The nearest Metro station is the Largo Town Center station (Blue/Silver lines) about one mile away, a twenty-minute walk.

Bus

The Metro bus lines closest to Heart to Hand include C21 and C22.

Payment and Insurance Information

Heart to Hand provides no-cost or low-cost services. The front desk receptionist will let you know if the service will be at no cost to you or low cost. If any payment is required, Heart to Hand accepts several.
