ABOUT US: YEAR 1998
Heart to Hand Incorporated was established by two concerned African American women who saw the need to provide a voice to
the voiceless. HIV/AIDS was spreading throughout the African American community, specifically
African American women were becoming HIV positive at an alarming rate(and still
are).
1999 - PRESENT
Heart to Hand, Inc. received designation as a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Heart to Hand, Inc. received the first federal grant from Ryan White Title I
and Minority AIDs Initiative to provide HIV/AIDS Outreach prevention/referral
services.

2001 - 2006
Heart to Hand, Inc. received funding from Maryland AIDS Administration to
provide youth education prevention and intervention services.
2003 - PRESENT
Heart to Hand, Inc. was awarded a grant to provide HIV/AIDS non medical case
management services thru a Ryan White grant Title I.
Heart to Hand, Inc. was funded to provide Tobacco prevention services.
